Summary of Content: Addressed to "Dad + Bee." He wanted to get a letter to them as soon as he could with his new APO. He hasn't received any mail for three weeks from his family and hopes his various trunks, letters, and packages have arrived and their mail simply hasn't been forwarded.

Background Information: Robert "Bob" Stone was a Bombardier in World War II and served in the Pacific Front. These letters, were compiled by Bob's wife, Sheila M. Stone, and Ali Adair into ...a book named Letters in a Box. This book details Bob's service to his country, and his life after the war. Bob's letters were donated to the collection by his wife, Sheila M. Stone, in 2017. It contains a variety of letters, postcards, patches, pins, photographs, and scrapbooks that relate to Bob's training and combat missions. See More

Dear Dad & Bee-
Haven't time for a very lengthy letter but I want to get this into the mail so ...that you'll get my new APO as soon as possible.
No mail from any of you for about three weeks now but I imagine it just hasn't been forwarded yet. I'm wondering if all my various packages and trunk have arrived yet. Please let me know when you next write.
