One Wire photograph released by International News Photos dated October 26, 1957. Shows a street with smoke in the center with people running away. The attached press release reports that Guatemalan police are dispersing protesters on the main street of Guatemala City with tear gas. The protesters were heading to the palace to protest the military taking over the government after the recent presidential election. The photo is stamped on the back with the date and International News Photos information.
