Summary of Content: Certificate written in a secretarial hand for Bird as Lieutenant Colonel in 15th Regiment of Foot. Says he has received James Palmer and Jacob Goodenough from the 62nd Regiment of Foot. Bird died on 4 October 1777 at the Battle of Germantown.
