The messengers inform Corlaer that the Seneca Sachems have gone to Canada, and that 5 "Waganhaes" from different nations have recently arrived at Onondaga. In the answer, Livingston explains that the English will send Lawrence Claese up to Onondaga to investigate, and also to prevent more Senecas from fleeing to Canada.
