Archer recounts his acquaintance and satisfaction with Jeffery's good service at Tredegar Iron works and "in the various Depts for 10 years." He offers to vouch for Jeffery to help him get a job with the Proped Steel Car Co in Pittsburgh. Written on Tredegar Iron Works stationary.
