Receipt for seven payments made by John Coffman, signed in different hands. Each payment under twenty pounds. One payment for beer, the rest unknown. Signed for by Patrick Moore, William Crispin, George Steiner, David Schafler & Sons, Henry Sumers, John Plass, Miles Hillborn, and Jonas Phillips.
Jonas Phillips was a Jewish businessman who fought in the American Revolution.
William Crispin was a signer of Continental Currency.
