Discusses the sale of lands belonging to Knox's eastern territories, likely part of the Waldo patent lands. Declares that he has done research into the subject, but his last report to Knox may have been "premature." Mentions that Vice President [John] Adams left on Monday to travel to New York, and that Governor [John] Hancock acted honorably during his part of the festivities. Also mentions his plan to depart for New York in one week.
