One Wire photograph released by International News Photos dated October 26, 1957. Shows a large crowd of protestors holding banners. The attached press release reports that the crowd gathered outside government buildings in Guatemala City protesting the military size sure of the government following the recent election. In the election the winner was Miguel Ortiz Passarelli. The leader of the Military Junta is Colonel Oscar Mendoza Azurdia. The photo is stamped on the back with the date and International News Photos information.
