These professional development recordings explore the sacrifices, strengths, and legacies of American Veterans and Service Members across six major conflicts in United States history. Watch these videos to learn about different aspects of American Veterans' and Service Members’ lives on and off the battlefield and how to effectively bring that content back to the classroom.

2023 Professional Development Session Recordings

Each workshop includes:

  • A lecture by an eminent historian in the field
  • A pedagogical session led by a Gilder Lehrman Master Teacher
  • A tour of a historic National Cemetery
