A print of a photograph taken during the Civil War. Groupings of three rifles balanced together stand in front of garrison quarters with Federal soldiers sitting and standing and sittingagainst the quarters. Perhaps, Quarter Masters or Sutler's shop, last quarter on the left in row. On verso: purple ink inscription on adhered tag: "No 7. Good view of comfortable quarters. Same time and place. See 'Plato House' and 'Fox River Avenue' on house to the right. [in black ink] (Corinth or Memphis.)"; stamp of Century company; "7 Armstead," "5790-31," and another illegible two words in pencil.
